This project is a pan-Canadian action research which will track Francophone immigrants enrolled in educational programs, as well as those who are not. By 2017 we will have collected the data necessary for the development of a tool that will demonstrate the impact of enhanced Literacy and Essential Skills on the socio-economic integration of Francophone immigrants.
Results will also help determine the benefits derived from educational programs compared to resources invested. Across Canada, participants complete questionnaires at the beginning of the project and throughout their educational journey, as well as after their programs have finished.
